Ancient Cleanse is a white sage (Salvia apiana) smudge stick possessing antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. The practice of smudging is a ritual well-established by some Native American tribes including Lakota, Chumash, Cahuilla, among others. The fundamental belief is that burning sage clears out spiritual impurities, pathogens, insects, and invites positive energy to fill the space.
Whether or not that is true, the aroma is certainly relaxing and can be used as an aid in reducing stress and anxiety, to accompany meditation, or to clear unpleasant odors.
Bright and purifying, white sage has an herbaceous aroma with a touch of menthol since it comes from the mint family.

• Hold the bundle at a 45-degree point
• Light with a match or lighter
• Let burn for a few seconds and mildly blow it out
• Wave the smoke around your home, office, or any area to clear surrounding negative energies and invite peace into the space
• Place in a heat-safe dish or our Palo Santo/Sage holder to smoulder
